Firmware Update Instructions for Swobbee One (SwOne) Batteries (USB-C on Top)

Required Equipment

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Connect the update cable and PeakCAN interface to the laptop.

  2. Open the BMS Monitor software.

    1. Load the right Setting file

      1. FW 1.12 --> TP6132_Main_PROTOCOL_V1.4_BMS test_20250211

      2. FW 1.14 --> TP6132_Main_PROTOCOL_V1.11_BMS test_20250321



  1. Click “Connect” (see Image 1) and verify the updater is recognized.

  2. Go to “Settings”, set:

    • Baud rate: 250k

    • Port number: 0 or 1

    • Check actual COM port in Windows Device Manager [WIN+X]
  3. Switch to the “Firmware” tab in the BMS Monitor Software

  4. Click "Open File" -> Confirm '1024'

  5. Select the firmware file
    (Current version: 1.12)

Battery Update Routine (Batch Processing Recommended)

  1. Connect the battery to the update cable
    • Orientation of the USB-C Plug as shown:
  2. Turn on the battery using the button on top. [ON = LED are on]

  3. In the BMS Monitor Software switch to “Current State” tab:

    • Check connection to the battery and the data:

    • Ensure no errors are shown in the "Status" section

  4. If everything is OK, Switch to the “Firmware” tab and click “Programming.”

  5. Wait for the update to complete.

  6. Click “Reset” in the Firmware tab.

  7. Recheck data in the “Current State” tab.

    • Updated Firmware Version is now being displayed:

  8. Disconnect the battery physically.

  9. Repeat the procedure for each battery.


Finalization Steps

Place each battery into a SharingPoint for a 3-hour testing phase (use the Swobbee App for activation).

After the 3-hour period, remove the battery and reconnect it to the BMS Monitor.

Activate Transport Mode on the battery by pressing the middle button. Refer to Image 5 for assistance.

Finally, move the battery to the storage area.
